Maasai Mara Safari
Private conservancies, small groups, and Africa’s iconic wildlife without the crowds.
An exclusive journey into Kenya’s most iconic ecosystem
Right in the heart of the Mara ecosystem, the private conservancies offer some of Africa’s most intimate and exclusive safari experiences. Low vehicle densities and abundant wildlife allow personal connection with the most sought after species.
While wildlife is always the focus, our hand-picked camps offer comfort, privacy, and exceptional hospitality.

The Mara with TWP
Exclusivity and Comfort
Above all, this tour delivers an authentic African safari experience in one of the continent’s most celebrated wildlife destinations. You’ll enjoy a perfect balance of comfort, exclusivity, and adventure.
The Biologist’s Eye
Your guide’s background as a biologist brings a deeper layer to every wildlife encounter. Beyond identifying species, we’ll explore the ecological and evolutionary stories that connect them, diving into animal behavior, biogeography, and ecosystem dynamics to better understand how nature fits together.
Photography Coaching
Your guide is a wildlife photographer as well as a biologist. Having spent several years teaching, he can tailor photographic instruction to meet your wants and needs. During down times at camp, he’ll be happy to assist with image selection and editing too!
Pre-trip Zoom
Meet with your guide before departing to discuss any questions or concerns you may have.
Exclusive Presentations
TWP guests have the added benefit of meeting a conservancy manager for an inside look at the vital conservation efforts shaping the Mara. Your guide also shares stories and images from his research around the world, offering a broader perspective on wildlife and conservation beyond Kenya.
Benefits of the Private Conservancies
Close Encounters
Conservancy access allows for intimate, off-road encounters, ensuring you’re always in the best position for the perfect shot.
Night Drives
While the main reserve closes at sunset, the conservancies have the chance to see rare nocturnal behaviors and elusive species that only emerge after dark.
Small Groups
Our small group size means less noise, more space for gear, and an intimate atmosphere that lets you connect truly with the wild.
