About us
Our Promise
More wildlife
Our biologists position groups in the right places at the right times, for maximum encounters.
Better behaviors
By understanding animal behavior, we're there when it matters most, delivering unique moments that few ever witness.
Closer encounters
By reading subtle wildlife movements, we have intimate encounters without disturbing the animals.
Our Mission
At The Wild Perspective, our mission is to improve the ordinary way people experience wildlife through biologist-led observation. We go beyond traditional tours, using scientific expertise to enrich understanding and foster respect for the natural world, thus bringing about conservation outcomes.
What We Do
We run biologist-led wildlife tours that deliver what matters most: more wildlife, better behaviors, and closer encounters.
Our guides are university-trained and field-tested scientists, but they're also natural communicators. They take the complex knowledge earned through years of research and break it down into clear, engaging insights that enhance everyone’s experience.
By combining scientific knowledge with exclusive access to our worldwide network of researchers, we create experiences that go beyond what traditional wildlife tours offer.
The result? Experiences that aren't possible the old way.
Wildlife done right.

Better sightings. Anticipating animal movements, not just reacting.
Deeper insights. Complex behaviors and ecosystems, explained clearly.
Exclusive access. Research sites and experiences others can't offer.
Conservation
We aren’t just here to provide great experiences
We create lasting change.
We donate 10% of profits to environmental charities supporting research and habitat protection.
We support local communities, ensuring that our trips benefit local wildlife and ecosystems, even after we the tour ends.
We educate guests, empowering them to take action for conservation once back at home.
Our Founder
Zachary Arnold is a field ecologist with a broad background in avian conservation, wildlife research, and environmental education. He holds two Bachelor degrees, a Master’s, and is currently completing a PhD in Animal Ecology.
Zach’s career has taken him to some of the world’s most iconic wildlife destinations. He has worked as a brown bear researcher and guide in Alaska, a songbird researcher in Belize, the Chief Science Advisor for a wildlife documentary in the Amazon, and now conducts research on Christmas Island in the Indian Ocean.
After years studying animals in these remote and remarkable places, Zach founded The Wild Perspective to guide others back his field sites - offering immersive, biologist-led experiences that go far beyond traditional wildlife tourism.
